The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

Oncology/Hematology

The Hematology/Oncology Clinic provides consultation and/or care to referred adult patients diagnosed with cancer or blood disorders. Oncologists are capable of hematology/oncology-related procedures, including bone marrow biopsy and aspiration, lumbar puncture, and paracentesis. All patients receive comprehensive and specialized care for their needs, including collaboration with radiation therapy, social services, and end-of-life care. The clinic provides intravenous (IV) chemotherapy via the Infusion Clinic, as well as oral chemotherapy and targeted therapy treatment for those patients that qualify.

The oncology program also offers the services of an onsite licensed clinical social worker to support military patients, families, and caregivers throughout all phases of cancer treatment.
