The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

During this partial government shutdown, the 96th Medical Group remains open and continues to honor scheduled medical and dental appointments. Our patient appointing service is open and we're still taking requests for appointments. We're doing our best to minimize impact on our beneficiaries and their health care. The hospital’s Operating Room, Primary Care and Specialty Care services are fully operational. Ancillary services (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology) also remain operational. As always, safe, and high-quality health care remain our priority. Please call 850-883-8600 to schedule or cancel appointments. Health Services

Radiology / X-ray

We specialize in treating disease and injury, using medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, mammography, and ultrasound. Main Radiology is the part of radiology most people go to for imaging. This section is also called “X-ray” because of the type of electromagnetic radiation used to produce the images of bones and soft tissues. We provide services to all the clinics in the hospital.
