Base, community exercise prepares responders for major emergencies

96th Test Wing, local airport staff and first responders gathered for a major accident response tabletop exercise at the Okaloosa County Emergency Operations Center Aug. 29, 2023.

The 96th Test Wing is scheduled to conduct an active assailant exercise Jan. 7 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The annual training exercise will take place at Eglin Elementary School and is intended to test emergency response plans.

Eglin Hospital transitions to new health records system

COVID-19 self-test kits available

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — The 96th Medical Group has free COVID-19 self-test kits available to beneficiaries with an active ID card.
